Hard to believe it’s over. It went so quickly. We had a great time. But now it is time to pack up and head out. Our flight didn’t leave until 18:30, so we had almost a full day to mess around.

After breakfast we returned to the room where Sea packed our bags and got them ready to leave. I suggested not checking out until the last minute so we could take a final shower. That was OK.

We walked around a couple of hours shopping and taking pics. We stopped at the bakery that was always so crowded and bought a few sweets to take to Sea’s kids.

We had lunch at the Italian place I liked. Sea had spaghetti and her first gelato. I had the tomato and basil pizza.

Then we returned to the room for a final shower and check out a little past 12:00. Sea took a few pics of the Four Face Buddha at the hotel.

We left out bag at Reception and went to the tattoo place where Sea had her work. She had been talking about getting a goldfish at her bikini line, but the shop was busy.

They couldn’t get to her for a couple of hours, so we didn’t have enough time.

Not wanting to get sweaty again, we sat in the lobby of the guest house for a couple of hours until the van to the airport arrived.

We got to the airport in plenty of time before our flight. We had a few baht to spend and walked around looking in the stores. Most were very upscale and included all the big names in fashion, design, liquor, candy, tobacco, etc. We ended up spending our baht in a restaurant where Sea had a prawn soup that looked and smelled great. She like it very much. She also had a coconut drink. I had a final Singha. The meal took all of our baht plus a little more, which I put on my credit card.

Then we boarded the plane for the 3 hour flight. The plane was not crowded, so we both had empty seats next to us, always a plus.

When we arrived in Shenzhen the airport was nearly empty of people. It was quite a change from Bangkok. We gathered our things and caught a taxi home.
