Living in China. July 13-14, 2010.

Slightly cloudy this morning. Started to go out about 10:00, but it started to rain, so I returned home and played a few games of computer chess.

Later walk in the park for a while, read the Shenzhen Daily, and ate some fresh litchis.

The pictures below are of apartments where employers provide housing for their employees. I don’t know any details like what they cost, are the full apartments, single rooms, or dorms.

Ran into the woman who owned the restaurant that I liked which has closed. I tried to ask her what was going on, but we were completely unable to communicate.

Found a new alley just a few blocks from my house that I didn’t know was there. You never know.

A typhoon is supposed to hit tonight. It’s supposed to cool things off, and bring lots of rain.

Had a new dish tonight. It was just large green beans just stir fried. The beans had very large beans inside that tasted almost like tiny potatoes. They were very lightly seasoned. I felt very healthy.

Am going out tonight. Thought I better do some things before the typhoon hits.
